Upon verification of your identity, we will delete the following personal information:

• User-generated content (where legally permissible)
• Platform usage data and analytics
• Communication records

In accordance with POPIA and other applicable laws, we may retain certain information where:

• Legal Obligations: Retention is required by law (e.g., tax records, financial transactions)
• Contractual Obligations: Information necessary to fulfill ongoing contractual commitments
• Legal Proceedings: Information relevant to ongoing or potential legal disputes
• Fraud Prevention: Information necessary to prevent, detect, or investigate fraud

2. Identity Verification: We will verify your identity to ensure the security of your data (typically within 3-5 business days)
3. Processing: We will process your request and delete eligible data within 30 days of verification, as required by POPIA
4. Confirmation: We will notify you once the deletion is complete, or if any data must be retained (with explanation)

Complex requests or requests involving large amounts of data may take additional time. We will keep you informed of any delays.

To protect your privacy and security, we require identity verification before processing deletion requests. We may request:

• Confirmation from the email address associated with your account
• Additional verification information if the request is made from a different email
• Government-issued identification in certain circumstances

This verification process helps ensure that only authorized individuals can request deletion of personal information.
